What I Actually Do
I model. I write sometimes. I take pictures of myself and occasionally of other things. I think a lot about why images matter and whether they do.
Simone Weil wrote that attention is the rarest form of generosity. I think she was right. Every image is a kind of attention. Every look costs something.
